We finished this home with cedar shakes on all framed parts. They add some contrast to the logs and still have a nice rustic look. Soon the block basement wall will be faced with stone, and the landscaping will be done.
A nice home up in Northern Minnesota. The customers put a lot of "sweat equity" into this project. Now when they stand back and look at it they can feel a lot of pride.
